Typical Clubs/Activities Available During the School Year

From semester to semester, there are typically several clubs and extracurricular activities available after school at ADV to our students.  Several of these clubs were introduced during the past few years ago and grow in popularity each year.  These clubs are typically run directly by an ADV teacher or an outside company.  Occassionally, ADV directly runs an after school program to fill a temporary need.  Each of these clubs/activities are offered for a set fee for a semester (1/2 a year).  Please contact the club/activities contact for specific cost information.

Dance Club

It's a new year and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to offer more dance to my lovely students! In addition to learning more technique, gaining flexibility, building strength and creating new friendships, the club will also have an additional performance. Classes are available in the styles of either Jazz/Hip Hop or Ballet/Lyrical. Space is limited, and enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. Builders Club

The Builder's Club is for K-5 students who love to construct different objects using a variety of building materials. Some of the materials we use are Legos, gears, blocks, newspaper, and pop-sickle sticks.

Last year, some of the projects that we did was to build objects out of Legos, constructing a house and a tower out of newspaper, building a bridge out of pop-sickle sticks, and making gingerbread houses. We also learned about simple machines and had stacking cups competitions.
