Meet Mrs. Bartelloni - Dean of Students
Greetings ADV Parents and Community,
It is my pleasure to serve you as Dean of Students this year! My name is Andrea Bartelloni, and this is my seventh year at Academie da Vinci, twelfth year in a leadership role, and a total of twenty years in education. Prior to becoming Dean, I have had many experiences including elementary and middle school classroom teacher, lead teacher and teacher mentor; Exceptional Student Education Specialist; District and State Assessment Coordinator; 504 Coordinator; Intervention Coach for both Academic and Behavior Plans, and Violence Prevention and Intervention Specialist at various other Florida schools. I have been a member of our school’s Safety Team, working on threat assessments, investigations, and safety plans. Finally, I have been our back-up Administrator when the principal was out of the building on extended leaves.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Central Florida with continuing education courses in from Florida Southern College.
Some of my certifications include being a Florida State Certified Educator, Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder, and CPR & First Aid.
Outside of education, I am passionate about my family. I have a wonderful husband and an amazing daughter. I am passionate about travel and family vacations. We love exploring new places, new cultures, and food. I love cooking, entertaining, and being with my friends. I enjoy getting caught up in engaging conversations with friends who challenge and encourage me.
I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations each day. I believe that I owe it to our students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.

This is an important message regarding the first day of school
for 2022-2023 for incoming 7th graders
By law, incoming 7th grade students (2022-2023) will not be permitted to attend class on the first day of seventh grade without proof of the required immunizations or valid documented exemption. Students will need to have received one T-D-A-P booster and two chickenpox vaccines. Pinellas County Schools are required to enforce these immunization requirements and strongly encourage you to get this completed as soon as possible.
After your child has received these vaccines, please turn in a completed certificate of immunization or exemption to the school.
You can contact your child’s healthcare provider to request these vaccines. If your child does not have a healthcare provider, immunizations are available at no cost at your local Department of Health location, no appointment is needed.
If you have any questions about these vaccine requirements, you are welcome to call the School Health Services department at 588-6320 for assistance.
We hope that all students are prepared for seventh grade! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
